Theophany Kids Crown of Thorns Tee

The Crown of Thorns Kids Tee was created to help the next generation understand the symbols of Christianity and proudly share what they believe.

The three-bar Orthodox Cross tells the story of Christ's Crucifixion. The upper beam represents the inscription placed above Jesus, the center beam represents the Cross upon which He was crucified, and the angled lower beam represents the footrest, traditionally pointing toward the repentant thief who turned to Christ.

Surrounding the Cross is the Crown of Thorns, placed upon Christ's head by the Roman soldiers as they mocked Him as "King of the Jews." What was intended as humiliation became a powerful symbol of Christ's suffering, sacrifice, and kingship. He endured the crown, the Cross, and death itself for the salvation of mankind.

For a child, these symbols can become more than a design on a shirt. They can become an early lesson in who Christ is, what He endured for us, and why Christians proudly bear the Cross.

And when someone asks, "What does your shirt mean?" they have an opportunity to share that story themselves.
